Technology Introduction

With the increase in national industrial safety requirements, many planning areas do not allow liquid ammonia or ammonia water. However, ammonia has to be used in SCR denitrification or activated coke denitrification. Thus, the application of ammonia production technology based on urea is increasingly adopted.

Our company has many years of experience in producing ammonia based on urea, and we organically combine our years of design experience with engineering practice to produce sets of equipment, including complete sets of equipment for urea pyrolysis to ammonia, complete sets of equipment for urea hydrolysis or catalytic hydrolysis to ammonia, and EPC for urea projects. Besides, we have more optimized and economical design solutions for urea EPC.

Urea pyrolysis to ammonia complete equipment

Urea pyrolysis to ammonia is a process in which urea is decomposed into ammonia at a high temperature of 350-600°C. The reaction equation is as follows.

CO(NH2)2→NH3+HNCO    HNCO+H2O→NH3+CO2

The complete set of equipment mainly includes high-temperature fans, electric heater, urea pyrolysis furnace, injection system, electrical and control instrumentation system. The above equipment is made, assembled, and tested in our equipment manufacturing factory. After the commissioning, the complete set of equipment is transported to the site, and the engineering stuff only needs to be in place for docking.

Application occasions: denitrification projects that require ammonia gas or other chemical projects.
