The new solid waste law improves the industrial solid waste pollution prevention and control system. For example, in the limestone-gypsum method of wet desulfurization, the by-product of desulfurization is gypsum, and the output of gypsum after desulfurization is excessive. If it is not comprehensively used, it will cause secondary pollution to the environment. Desulfurized gypsum can be used as a cement retarder, but the blending amount is only 3% to 5%, and it can also be used for the manufacture of gypsum board. However, there are few successful applications, and most of them are stacked. In short, the utilization rate is low. The difficulty in handling is the current status of desulfurized gypsum. The implementation of the new solid waste law has increased the requirements for solid waste treatment in enterprises. When choosing a flue gas treatment process, no secondary pollution and no solid waste output should be the primary considerations.
Compared with the disadvantages of the limestone-gypsum method, the ammonia process in wet desulfurization can perfectly avoid these problems. Ammonia desulfurization produces no waste water and the by-product is ammonium sulfate particles, which can be used to process chemical fertilizers, organic fertilizers, etc. Organic compound fertilizer. Ammonium sulfate particles can be sold directly to chemical companies without the problem of stacking treatment, which solves the difficult problem of desulfurization and solid waste treatment.
